All of our services are available on site. On site screening and compliance services are a convenient cost effective way to manage the safety and compliance aspects of your business. There are many benefits to on site services. One of the most beneficial services is the on site drug screening. As we all know if you have an employee with a drug problem you as the employer are the last to know. That employee will do anything possible to beat the test. On site drug testing at confidential random dates minimize the opportunity that employees have to substitute or adulterate the testing process. Our goal is accuracy and validity and on site testing helps us as the provider and you as the employer achieve and maintain the goal. Our DOT drug screen services are all performed by a staff that has been extensively trained in DOT Regulations. After the collection process is complete the specimen is shipped to ATN Laboratory in Tenn. for analysis. After the specimen has been analyzed at the lab the lab findings are sent to Tri State Independent Medical examiners in KY for evaluating and reporting. It is surprising to most people but the whole process only from the collection to the reporting usually takes less than 24 hours as long as the specimen is negative. If however the specimen is initially positive the turn around time for the test does increase. The turn around time for a specimen that is initially positive depends upon the length of time it takes the MRO to make contact with donor to see if there is a valid medical explanation for the initial positive. Non DOT employees are not regulated by DOT regulations that give the employer more freedom with regards to their drug testing program. Rapid screens are a great effective way to screen potential employees and to monitor the existing employees that you already have. The great thing about rapid screen drug test is that you will have your results within three minutes of the donor providing the specimen. Rapid screen drug tests are not only fast, they are also accurate. In fact the rapid screens that we use are 99% accurate compared to GC/MS conformation. Every rapid screen that has an initial positive result is sent to Global Lab for GC/MS conformation and then on to the MRO Joe Spataro for evaluating and reporting. So as you can see for non-DOT clients rapid screens are a great option. With rapid screens you have the option to choose between several different panels. Two of the most populate panels are as follows: 5 Panel - Five panel rapid screens test for the following drugs: THC (marijuana) Cocaine Amphetamines Methamphetamines Opiates (prescription pain medicine % heroin) 10 Panel - ten panel rapid screens test for the following drugs: THC (marijuana) Cocaine Amphetamines Methamphetamines Opiates (prescription pain medicine % heroin) Benzodiazepines Barbiturates Phencyclidine Propoxyphene Methadone We are sure that you will be pleased with whichever panel you choose. Alcohol screening is a low cost way to add another safeguard to help protect the future of your business. At Southeast Texas Drug Screening we perform Evidential Breath Test for all alcohol screening. Evidential Breath tests or (EBT) are admissible in the court of law. If you have a business that is regulated by DOT you are required to meet minimum annual alcohol testing percentages depending upon the category of DOT you fit into.
